Our Client is an international company that provides innovative software solutions for companies from rail and power industry. In line with continued dynamic development of the company we are looking for: SENIOR EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER who will join independent R&D Centre.

About job:

You will be responsible for development and implementation of software components for complex solutions. We are looking for a team player and self-motivated engineer who is able to work effectively with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for designing, developing and improving products and new features mainly for customers from power sector throughout the project life cycle, developing software and associated tests. Your duties will also include producing documentation (for example detailed design specifications) and integating functionality with other parts of the system.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or an equivalent.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in: C/C++
Good understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP and real time operating systems
Basic knowledge of scripting language (Python, Bash or any other)
Working knowledge of debugging tools

Nice to have:

Working knowledge of Agile methodology
Working knowledge of TDD
Familiarity with low level device drivers
Working knowledge of embedded hardware and embedded hardware design
Proven ability to manage environments and tools (configuration/installation)
