To support our international Terminal Integration & Validation team with Terminal Certification tasks to ensure that terminals are fit for market launch of our customers we are looking for a Junior Radio Test Engineer (f/m)

Wymagania

Requirements & Experiences:
• Knowledge on GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSPA and LTE air interfaces.
• Degree in Electronics Engineering or Telecommunications.
• Ideally with experience working in an international organisation
• General PC skills (esp. MS Office applications)
• Fluent English
• German language skills would be an advantage

Obowiązki

• Performing interoperability testing and troubleshooting of new terminals with our customers specific infrastructures, SIM cards and network services in areas of GSM, GPRS, UMTS, HSPA, LTE and local MT services.
• To ensure that all devices conform to the customers technical Requirements.

Task:
• Validates software releases for new terminals prior to market
launch, specifically covering the interoperability with test network configurations, SIM cards and network services. This scope covers: GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSPA, LTE (incl. CSFB) and interworking between these technologies.
• Detects and analyses device misbehaviour against existing generic standards (e.g. 3GPP) and DT specific requirements and evaluates the root cause of the issues.
• Documents validation results and defects with tools like MS Excel and a web based database. Especially creates detailed technical descriptions (English language) of defects for internal project managers and vendor developers.
Gives technical opinion on the defect severity, along with customer impact statements. Intermediate levels of problem solving skills and technical competency are required
