Yggdrasil is seeking a 2D Animator to join our Art team based in Malta. The ideal candidate is experienced in Flash and After FX, and would work collaboratively with our game art team and Art directors to contribute to the art and animation of our games.

Work Description

• Create quality symbol based animations in Flash or After FX.
• Produce illustrations for static and animated purposes.
• Collaborate with a team of other illustrators and animators against time and technical constraints.
• Contribute art assets on projects when and where appropriate.
• Work closely with Art Directors to ensure the art needs of each project are met in a timely manner.

Skills

• Strong illustration and animation skills.
• 3-5+ years of professional animation work in the games or related industry.
• Experience in limited, tween, and symbol based animation.
• Ability to animate a range of elements from characters to effects.
• Ability to animate in a range of styles, from realistic to exaggerated/cartoony.
• Superior verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Must have a passion for games!
