Your Tasks

• Drive new projects from end to end: full involvement in designing, planning, implementing and resourcing
• Develop innovative approaches to complex challenges around our internal and customer facing applications
• Help us shape our new Java team with your creativity and expertise
• Expand and develop our API architecture
• Constantly advance your skillset by learning new technologies and following industry developments

Your Profile

• Computer science degree or relevant professional experience in web development
• At least 5-7 years of professional experience with Java 6,7,8 AND at least three of the following technologies: Spring, SpringMVC, Hibernate, Springboot, Jackson, JEE, Jersey
• Profound knowledge about RESTful APIs, HTTP, RESTful API Design Patterns
• Ideally knowledge about writing code in a SOA/microservice environment
• Ideally experience in a high scaling environment with millions of requests per month in multiple datacenters, serving content for 10+ countries
• Bonus: you have earned work experience in an early-stage start-up
