As a Business Intelligence (BI) Solution Engineer you will report directly into the Agile BI Service Manager. You will lead all engineering activities for the strategic self-service data visualization service based on Tableau. The Agile BI team is part of the Infrastructure Services Analytics function which itself is a part of Infrastructure Services Core Engineering.

The role will be located in the UBS office in Krakow (Zabierzow).

Responsibilities:

• Taking care of all aspects of the engineering of the service, including such topics as performance, testing, HA, integration with SSO and integration with UBS entitlement systems
• Providing L3 support of the service
• Training L2 support ensuring that as many incidents as possible can be resolved at that level
• Training and consulting the user community, ensuring that users derive the maximum possible benefit from the service and do not impact negatively on one another
• Performing trend analysis and forecasting of service performance and usage
• Reporting on all aspects of the service to many audiences (team, management, steering committees, user groups)

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Several years of experience in a similar role
• Very good written and spoken English
• Knowledge of both Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server from an administrative and a consultative standpoint
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Service-oriented approach with emphasis on customer experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to chair user groups, make presentations and interact with senior management
• Certified Professional qualification in both Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server – a plus
